March Patreon Episode: Sheila and Katherine Lyon

Katherine and Sheila Lyon, aged 10 and 12, disappeared on March 25, 1975, after visiting Wheaton Plaza shopping mall in Maryland. Their case became one of the largest investigations in the Washington, D.C. area but remained unsolved for decades. In 2013, Lloyd Lee Welch Jr., a convicted child sex offender, was identified as a suspect. He confessed to abducting and murdering the sisters and was sentenced to two concurrent 48-year prison terms in 2017. Authorities believe their remains were burned and buried in Virginia, but they have never been found. The case remains a tragic and haunting chapter in U.S. history.
