Burt Templet was known to be extremely controlling and abusive, both physically and psychologically to those closest to him. On the night of the incident, an argument between Anthony and his father escalated, leading to the fatal shooting. Anthony's case gained widespread attention, and his story was featured in the Netflix documentary "I Just Killed My Dad," which delves into the events leading up to the shooting and the aftermath. As of now, Anthony is living in Louisiana and trying to move on with his life.
