February Patreon: The Carrollton Bus Collision

A bus full of teenagers was traveling home from a fun day at Kings Island in May 1988 when a pickup truck collided with the bus head-on on the highway. While the initial crash did not kill anyone, the fire that erupted and engulfed the bus within 4 minutes took the lives of 27 victims and injured most of the remaining passengers. The crash lead to stricter drunk driving laws in Kentucky and more bus regulations to prevent tragedies like this happening again.
